In order to widely develop the field of artificial intelligence (AI) in Uzbekistan and actively involve young people in this direction, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev put forward a number of large-scale initiatives.
At the international forum on artificial intelligence, the head of state proposed declaring November as "artificial intelligence month for youth" annually. Within this framework, special competitions, seminars, and projects are organized for pupils, students, young scientists, and programmers.
Also, an AI startup competition will be launched among schoolchildren. Modern artificial intelligence laboratories will be built in the winning schools. This will become an important factor in the formation of technological thinking in the younger generation.
During the forum, the launch of another important initiative - the "5 Million Artificial Intelligence Leaders" project - was announced. Through this program, interest in technology among young people will be strengthened, and talented youth will be supported.
In addition, by 2030, 4.75 million pupils and students, 150,000 teachers, and 100,000 civil servants will be trained through special training programs in artificial intelligence.
Within the framework of a large-scale technological partnership, a supercomputer cluster specializing in artificial intelligence will be launched with Nvidia. In addition, the National Transfer Office of Uzbekistan will be opened in Silicon Valley, and an artificial intelligence program will be gradually implemented at the "Future Centers" in our country.
These initiatives will contribute to the formation of a digital economy and a knowledge-based society based on modern technologies in the country.
