Pentagon reaches agreement with Nvidia and Amazon for classified networks

The U.S. Department of Defense has expanded its list of technology partners to include Nvidia, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, and the startup Reflection AI. This will allow their models to be legally and operationally deployed within closed defense networks. This was reported by Ixbt.com xabar.
The new agreements complement contracts previously reached with Google, SpaceX, and OpenAI. As a result, the number of companies whose artificial intelligence technologies are being integrated into U.S. military infrastructure has reached seven.
The technologies will be installed at security levels designed to handle classified information.
The diversification of artificial intelligence suppliers comes against the backdrop of a conflict between the Pentagon and the Anthropic laboratory. This was caused by the company's refusal to allow unrestricted use of its models.
In response, the ministry deemed Anthropic a risk to the supply chain.
In addition to developing classified systems, the Pentagon is mass-deploying generative artificial intelligence for daily operations. The "GenAI.mil" platform, launched in December 2025, already has more than 1.3 million users.
Officials state that this system is reducing the time required to perform routine operations from months to just a few days.
