An important update has been announced in Uzbekistan’s higher education system regarding study transfers. Specifically, for students wishing to transfer from foreign universities, as well as foreign and non-state higher education institutions within the country, to state universities in fields requiring special talent, the dates for professional (creative) exams have been set.
According to official data, these exams will be held on August 12 and 13, 2025. This stage is not only a test of knowledge but also a decisive step in determining the applicants’ future academic path. Therefore, thorough preparation is strongly advised.
To participate, applicants must obtain a special permit, available through their personal account on the my.uzbmb.uz website of the Knowledge Assessment Agency. The permit specifies the venue, date, and time of the exam.
On exam day, applicants must arrive on time, carrying both their passport or ID card and the permit. Failure to meet these requirements will result in disqualification from the exam.
Professional (creative) exams are primarily held for areas such as arts, sports, journalism, and design, where practical skills and creativity are as important as theoretical knowledge.
In addition, applicants must take compulsory subject tests in native language, mathematics, and history. Failure to take these tests will result in the creative exam scores not being counted.
Experts stress the importance of not only reinforcing knowledge but also preparing mentally, as stress and excitement on exam day can significantly affect results.
Thus, the exams on August 12–13 will be a decisive milestone for many students. For them, it will be more than just a test – it will be a step toward achieving their dreams.
