According to the State Committee on Statistics, in January–June 2025, a total of 95,275 marriages were registered nationwide in civil registry offices. This figure shows a stable trend compared to the same period last year.
Among men, the age distribution is as follows: under 20 — 1.4%, 20–30 years — 79.3%, 31–40 years — 13.2%, 41 and older — 6.1%. This means most men marry between the ages of 20 and 30.
Among women, the picture is slightly different: under 20 — 34.0%, 20–30 years — 54.2%, 31–40 years — 9.1%, 41 and older — 2.7%. Clearly, women tend to marry at a younger age compared to men.
