According to the National Statistics Committee, the volume of insurance services in Uzbekistan in January-November 2025 amounted to 10.9 trillion soums. This figure increased by 2.9 trillion soums compared to the same period in 2024.
The figures show that the largest share of the insurance market is occupied by areas associated with risks that the population and businesses frequently encounter in everyday life. In particular, such areas as accident insurance, insurance of motor vehicles and other modes of transport, as well as cargo and property insurance accounted for 81.7% of the total volume of insurance services.
In addition, in January-November 2025, the share of reinsurance services was 14.1%. The direction of life insurance currently maintains a relatively low share - only 4.2%.
