The effectiveness of the "103" ambulance service is determined, first of all, by the timely arrival of the teams at the address of the call. However, false appeals are a serious obstacle to this process.
According to Abduvoitjon Gafurov, director of the Republican Emergency Medical Center, a total of 3,244 false calls were received by the "103" service throughout the country in 2025. This figure is 531 more than in 2024.
According to the analysis, the most frequent false calls are:
- Kashkadarya region - 784,
- In Surkhandarya region - 499,
- In the Fergana region - 394,
- In Samarkand region - 337 cases.
The smallest number of false appeals was in the Syrdarya region - 48.
It should be noted that over the past 8 years, the number of "103" service points has increased from 818 to 1680, and the number of ambulance teams has increased from 1648 to 2865. As a result of the implementation of the electronic management system, the call arrival time has been reduced from 25-30 minutes to 10-15 minutes.
