Due to the rains expected on February 21, mudflows and floodwaters may occur in the foothill and mountainous areas of the republic. It is also emphasized that there is a risk of mudflows in a number of districts and some cities of Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, Samarkand, Navoi, Jizzakh, Tashkent, Namangan, Fergana, and Andijan regions.
In this regard, residents of foothill and mountainous areas, vacationers, and drivers are asked to take precautionary measures.
For the Tashkent region, the areas assessed as high risk are: Ohangaron, Bostanliq, Parkent, Piskent, Urtachirchiq, Yuqorichirchiq districts, as well as the cities of Angren and Olmaliq.
It is noted that in some areas rainwater may accumulate and flooding cases may be observed. Therefore, on days when the weather may change sharply, it is important to take special precautions both when going on the road and when going out for recreation.
