Weather in Uzbekistan changes rapidly: rain and strong winds are expected

According to the Uzbekhydromet, on Monday and Tuesday dry and fairly warm weather will persist across most regions of Uzbekistan. Daytime temperatures are expected to be in the range of +25…+30 degrees, and the warm spring days will temporarily continue.
On April 14, a moist air mass will begin to move into the western regions. In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm region, and by the evening in the Bukhara region, rain is expected, and in some areas thunderstorms may occur.
On April 15–16, moist air masses will spread across the entire territory of the republic. In all regions, rain will fall from time to time, in some places it may be heavy, and in certain areas thunderstorms are expected. During this period, daytime temperatures will sharply drop to around +13…+16 degrees.
On April 17, precipitation will mainly persist in the central and eastern regions. In some areas rain and thunderstorms are expected. In addition, in high mountainous areas on April 15–17, in some places rain may turn into snow.
On April 14 in Karakalpakstan, Khorezm and Bukhara regions, and on April 15–16 across the entire republic, strong winds are expected. Wind speed may reach 15–20 m/s, and in some places may increase up to 25–28 m/s. In certain areas, dust storms may also occur.
In the foothill and mountainous regions, there remains a risk of mudflows and floods, therefore the population is advised to be cautious.
In Tashkent city, no precipitation is expected on April 13–14, and the weather will be warm with temperatures of +26…+29 degrees. The wind will blow from the east, from light to moderate speed.
On April 15–17, the situation in the capital will also change — rain and thunderstorms are expected from time to time. Wind speed may increase up to 12–15 m/s, and daytime temperatures will drop to +13…+16 degrees.
In conclusion, spring warmth will be replaced by rapidly changing, cool and humid weather.
