The opening ceremony of the 3rd “Lazgi” International Dance Festival took place in the ancient Ichan-qalʼa area in the city of Khiva.
The event was attended by representatives of the art of dance from various countries, UNESCO experts, diplomats, and scholars.
Guests had the opportunity to experience the national culture and historical atmosphere firsthand.
A congratulatory message from the Head of State was read during the opening ceremony.
The message highlighted that the “Lazgi” dance has a three-thousand-year history and is receiving well-deserved recognition on world stages.
Furthermore, “Lazgi” was described as a unique masterpiece of art representing the spirit of the people, culture, and dialogue between civilizations.
