In January–March 2026, 191,086 live births were recorded in Uzbekistan. This was reported by the National Statistics Committee.
It is noted that during the first three months of the year, an average of over 2,000 babies were born daily across the country. Experts emphasize that this figure indicates a high level of demographic growth.
At the same time, efforts to protect maternal and child health are continuing. Special attention is being paid to equipping maternity facilities with modern technology and improving the quality of medical services.
According to officials, reforms in the healthcare system are playing a significant role in this area.
