Tragedy in rented home: Uzbek migrant workers die in Russia
It has been reported that four Uzbek migrant workers died in the city of Kaliningrad, Russia.
The bodies of the deceased were found in building 22 on Gagarin Street.
Investigators initially found no signs of foul play.

According to reports, the apartment had been rented about a month earlier, and four men from Uzbekistan were living there for work purposes.
Neighbors shared only positive impressions about the deceased.

“They were very quiet people. Every day they left for work at 8:30 a.m. and returned around 9 p.m.
Only the sound of the door closing was heard, the apartment itself was very calm,” recalled neighbor Lyudmila.

Preliminary information suggests they may have been poisoned by carbon monoxide.
The Kaliningrad regional investigation committee suspects that the gas equipment in the rented apartment might not have been properly maintained.

A criminal case has been opened under the article “Causing death by negligence.”
The investigation is under the supervision of the regional prosecutor’s office.
If the landlord is found guilty, they may face up to 4 years in prison.
