A minor citizen of Uzbekistan who was fraudulently invited to Turkey and found himself in a difficult situation was returned to his homeland. This was reported by the country's embassy in Istanbul.

It turned out that S.S., who lost her parents at an early age, went to Istanbul without the consent of her legal guardians to study at Turkish universities. On the recommendation of an Uzbek acquaintance, she contacted a person named A.D., who was studying in Turkey.

After arriving in Turkey, S.S. was met by a person named A.D. who pressured her and forced the girl to engage in prostitution. If she resisted, he threatened to hand her over to local criminal groups.

Realizing that her life was in danger, S.S. turned to representatives of the Uzbek diaspora for help. The girl was brought to the Consulate General by activists, and the condition of this citizen was considered in accordance with the established procedure.

Work was organized to take appropriate measures against the persons involved in this case.

On April 14, the Consulate General, in cooperation with the "Society for the Protection of Uzbek Women's Rights" and the State Committee for Family and Women of Uzbekistan, organized the return of the minor citizen to her homeland, and she was transferred to state care in accordance with the established procedure.

In Uzbekistan, S.S. was received by the National Agency for Social Protection, and measures are currently being taken to return her to a family environment.
