In every person’s life, there is a greatest dream held in their heart. To make this dream come true, sometimes one has to make big sacrifices, travel long roads, and show patience and perseverance. One of those people is Yuzuki Nakashima, one of Japan’s famous singers.
Yuzuki has just now revealed an unusual experience from her student years. She lived in Tokyo but studied at a university located in the city of Fukuoka, which is a thousand kilometers away. To cover this long distance every day, Nakashima decided to travel by airplane and spent at least four hours each day on this journey.

“Since my childhood, I always wanted to study at exactly this university. Every second spent to fulfill your dream later becomes the most precious memory of your life,” the singer says sincerely.
Yuzuki’s daily routine was also unique: she would wake up at five o’clock every morning, and an hour later she would head to Haneda Airport to catch the first flight. After arriving at Kitakyushu Airport, she would take a bus or taxi to reach the university. Each direction of the journey took about two hours, and one-way travel cost her around $105.
Even during these long journeys, Nakashima did not waste time — she did her homework, read books, and worked on new musical ideas. She decided to share this story with her fans only after graduating and receiving her diploma.
