Zelensky rejected the offer, saying:
“Crimea belongs to the Ukrainian people. It is illogical to argue about it. This issue is closed.”

Former President Donald Trump criticized Zelensky’s words, saying:

“Crimea is already out of hand. Zelensky’s position is detrimental to peace talks.”
