Donald Trump strongly condemned Russia's attack on Kyiv: "Putin, stop!"
Former U.S. President Donald Trump has sharply criticized the missile attacks carried out by Russian military forces on the city of Kyiv. He called for an immediate halt to these attacks and urged the parties involved to conclude a peace agreement.

"I am not happy at all with Russia’s attacks on Kyiv. Such actions were completely unnecessary and very badly timed. Vladimir [Putin], stop it! Five thousand soldiers are dying every week. It’s time to reach a peace agreement," Trump wrote on his Truth Social account.

For reference, on the night of April 24, the Russian armed forces launched an attack on Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, using ballistic missiles and drones. The greatest destruction was recorded in the Sviatoshynskyi district, where residential buildings were severely damaged.

According to the latest reports, eight people were killed in this attack. Additionally, another 90 people sustained varying degrees of injuries, 44 of whom are currently hospitalized.

This attack has been recorded as the deadliest in Kyiv since July 2024, when a Russian missile struck the "Okhmatdyt" children's hospital in the Ukrainian capital, resulting in 34 deaths.

The Russian Ministry of Defense issued an official statement regarding this attack, claiming that the strikes carried out on the night of April 24 were targeted at military facilities of the Ukrainian army. According to the ministry, "the objectives have been achieved, and all targeted objects have been successfully destroyed."

Due to the escalation of tensions, the international community is calling upon countries advocating peace agreements to take new measures to stabilize the situation. In this context, the appeal by former U.S. President Donald Trump holds particular importance.
