The city of Tianjin in the People’s Republic of China is hosting this year’s Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit. According to official information, more than 20 heads of state and government, as well as leaders of 10 international and regional organizations, are expected to participate in the summit. This was announced by Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Liu Bin at a special press conference.
The summit is regarded not only as an important platform for political dialogue and cooperation, but also as a major opportunity to discuss new directions and agreements in the field of international relations. Within the SCO framework, issues of security, economic cooperation, and cultural exchange are once again expected to be on the agenda.
