US President Donald Trump has openly expressed his disappointment with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"I was very upset with Putin. Thousands of people are dying in this war, which continues without any benefit. If I had been president, this clash wouldn't have started at all," the American leader said in a phone conversation with political scientist Scott Jennings.
Trump added that the US will certainly take action to save people's lives. According to him, at least seven thousand people die every week, the majority of whom are soldiers.
"If I have the opportunity to help stop this, I cannot stay away from it. "I think that I am obliged to do this," the US President said.
Thus, Trump once again made a sharp statement regarding the Russia-Ukraine war and noted that if he had been the head of state before the war began, the situation could have been completely different.
