Any country in the world can be a platform for negotiations between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian leader Vladimir Putin. However, there are three countries with which the Ukrainian side absolutely disagrees in this process.
Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak spoke about this in an exclusive interview with Novini.LIVE. He emphasized that Russia, Belarus, and Hungary will not be able to host such a summit under any circumstances. Because the meeting in these countries will have a negative meaning for Ukraine and will not bring any benefit.
"In fact, the main thing is not the place where the negotiations will take place. In my opinion, no country in the world will oppose such a meeting. Neither bilateral nor trilateral negotiations are strictly required. However, if such proposals are made in Moscow, Minsk, or Budapest, there is no need to take them seriously," Podolyak stressed.
At the same time, the main question for Ukraine is not in which country the summit will take place, but its outcome and the conditions under which it will take place.
