Trump: "I will speak with Putin by phone soon"

U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he plans to have a conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in the coming days.

According to him, the phone call may take place this week or at the beginning of next week.

“I think this week or early next week,” Trump explained to journalists.

Earlier, the U.S. president stressed that Moscow is deliberately prolonging the Russia-Ukraine war.

“Every time I think we are getting close to it, they go and drop another bomb on someone, and this is absolutely unacceptable,” Trump said in an interview with radio host Steve Rosenberg.
