Two countries that recognized the State of Palestine have made history

Canada and Australia have officially recognized the State of Palestine. Reuters reported this, citing the statements of the leaders of the two countries.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney stated in his declaration:
“Canada recognizes the State of Palestine and is ready to cooperate in creating a peaceful and prosperous future for both Palestine and Israel.”

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, in his social media post, emphasized:
“Australia recognizes a free and independent State of Palestine,” he said.

Thus, this step by the two important countries is expected to further increase international attention to the Palestinian issue.
