The Turkish National Intelligence Agency (MIT) has detained a local citizen, Serkan Çiçek, head of the Pandora detective agency, in Istanbul. He is suspected of selling information to Israel's Mossad intelligence service, TRT Haber reported on October 3rd.
According to reports, Serkan Chichek contacted Mossad representatives in July 2025 and agreed to provide information about Palestinian activists living in Istanbul. In return, an agreement was concluded to receive 4 thousand US dollars in cryptocurrency. However, upon reaching the destination, he could not identify the target and failed to complete the task.
It is noted that Chichek was detained during an investigation conducted by the Istanbul prosecutor's office in cooperation with the National Intelligence Agency and the local security department. This case arose due to the presence of illegal elements in his activities.
This event once again highlights the aspects of espionage and intelligence activities related to offenses in various countries.
