A Breath of Peace in Gaza
After the ceasefire came into effect, thousands of Palestinians began returning to their destroyed homes. Israeli forces announced that they had started withdrawing from cities in accordance with the agreement.

U.S. President Donald Trump called this peace “a big step.” He said he plans to visit Israel and Egypt in the coming days and hold an international summit on Gaza.

According to Trump’s plan, an international “Peace Council” could be established in Gaza. However, Hamas opposed this, emphasizing that Gaza should be governed only by Palestinians.

Under the agreement, Hamas will release 20 Israelis, while Israel will free 250 prisoners. In addition, trucks carrying food and medicine have started entering Gaza.
