An armed conflict broke out on the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan. According to the Pakistani Ministry of Defense, Afghan militants attacked border positions. As a result, 23 Pakistani soldiers were killed and 29 wounded.
According to reports, the incident occurred on October 11. Groups related to the Taliban movement participated on the Afghan side. The Pakistani army retaliated, and the Afghan side suffered more than 200 losses in the clashes, which lasted several hours.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Defense, Pakistani forces repelled the attack, establishing temporary control over 21 posts. Currently, security has been strengthened in the border area, and the situation remains tense.
