An unexpected situation was recorded in India. A helicopter carrying President Draupadi Murmuni found itself in a dangerous situation during landing in the state of Kerala, The Times of India reports.
According to reports, during the president's official visit, a concrete section of the landing area began to sink after a helicopter landed in the Pramadam stadium area. This situation immediately caught everyone's attention - pilots and security services acted quickly.
According to witnesses, there was no strong impact or explosion during the landing, but due to the settling of concrete, the apparatus was partially tilted to one side. Police, fire safety, and technical personnel immediately arrived at the scene. They managed to remove the helicopter from the potential danger zone and move it to a safe zone.
The official statement stated that Draupadi Murmu arrived in Kerala on October 21 for a four-day visit. Several important meetings and a visit to the Sabaramala temple are planned as part of his itinerary.
Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the incident, including the president, who is feeling well. It was also reported that the helicopter was not seriously damaged.
Currently, specialists are conducting an investigation to determine why the concrete in the area has settled. Some sources attribute this to the recent increase in soil moisture due to rains.
This event once again demonstrated the need to pay attention to safety standards in India. The President's trip through the state continues according to plan, and he continues to fulfill his duties as usual.
