In China, a man reunited with his family after 21 years

26-year-old Peng Cong Cong Cong from China's Jiangxi province shared an emotional post on social media a year after reuniting with his biological parents, calling 2025 his "year of revival." This was reported by China Morning Post.

When young Peng was four years old, a tragic incident occurred when he was kidnapped at a Beijing market. Since then, he had been raised in a foreign family and did not know who his biological parents were. After 21 years of separation, Hong Kong sold his house and car in the province where he was raised and went to search for relatives.

In December 2024, the police reported the results of the DNA test to Peng and organized a meeting with her relatives in Beijing. After this, he changed his registration and severed all ties with the people and the province where he was raised. "These things don't belong to me. So I returned them," he explained.

The return to his native village was a joyful event for him. Residents greeted him with fireworks and a banquet, relatives gave him red envelopes and a cake. "This is what a real house is. With the care of my parents, the care of my sisters by my side, and the blessings of my relatives, I feel a sense of belonging deep within me," he wrote.

Now Peng dedicates herself to helping people who, like herself, have been left far from home and participates in the activities of the Baby Come Home organization. He also tries to make up for lost years with his parents and takes them on trips.
