Trump waives tariffs on the Greenland issue

US President Donald Trump has canceled the plan to impose trade duties on European countries due to the situation surrounding Greenland. This decision was made following a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte during the World Economic Forum in Davos.
According to Trump, the parties have managed to form a common approach and framework for future cooperation regarding Greenland and the entire Arctic region.
"If this decision is implemented, it will have a very positive effect for the United States and all NATO member states. "Therefore, I will not introduce tariffs that are planned to take effect from February 1," the US leader stressed.
As a reminder, Donald Trump previously announced that a 10% trade duty could be imposed on all products imported into the US from Denmark, the UK, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Finland starting in February.
