A snowstorm in the northeastern United States has completely stopped thousands of flights

More than 2,000 flights across the country were canceled and at least 700 more flights were delayed due to a severe snowstorm that hit the northeastern regions of the US. This was reported by the online surveillance service FlightAware.
It is noted that a total of 2,026 flights planned to enter or exit the country, as well as within the United States, were not operated during the day.
The country's Minister of Internal Security, Christie Noem, warned of another natural disaster approaching the northeastern states. According to him, blizzards, heavy snowfall, and strong winds are possible from New Jersey to Southeast New England. The largest damage is expected to occur in coastal areas.
Previously, in January, a large part of the country was also affected by heavy snowfall. Serious consequences were noted, in particular, in the states of Tennessee, Mississippi, and Louisiana, which are less adapted to winter conditions.
