Jebel Ali, the largest container port in the Middle East, has suspended operations due to tensions in the region, Bloomberg reported.

It was reported that one of the world's largest shipping companies, "Mediterranean Shipping Company" (Em-Es-Si), has stopped reserving cargo for the Middle East.

It is also reported that "A.P. Møller-Mersk" and "Hapag-Lloyd" temporarily suspended all flights through the Strait of Hormuz.

It is noted that disruptions in logistics are a serious blow to business centers such as Dubai, which rely on trade, tourism, transport, and finance. The region was previously considered a relatively safe area.
