Explosions in the Persian Gulf further increased the threat of war

The tension in the Middle East is entering an even more dangerous phase. On the night of March 2nd, Iran launched another, more intense wave of attacks targeting Israeli and American military points in the region. According to various sources, explosions were heard on Israeli territory, but preliminary reports of casualties have not been received. At the same time, powerful explosions were reported in a number of key cities in the Persian Gulf region, including Dubai, Doha, and Bahrain. This means that the conflict now affects the security of not only the two countries, but the entire region.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Iranian drones also struck Arbil International Airport in northern Iraq. This facility is not just an airport - there is also a base related to the activities of the American military. A high-ranking American official interviewed by the publication said that despite the attack, the base was not seriously damaged or injured. The US Central Command also confirmed the strike near the airport. This means that the attacks have now reached infrastructure directly related to US interests.
The situation in Kuwait deserves special attention. Initially, videos depicting the fall of an American F-15 fighter jet circulated on social media. Later, Reuters and other publications wrote that the incident involved not one, but three US F-15s. Most importantly, while some sources initially claimed the aircraft were shot down by Iran, the US Central Command and Reuters later described this as a mistake caused by a "friendly bullet" by Kuwait's air defense. All the pilots managed to escape through the catapult and survived. This aspect was the biggest relief in this incident.
Reports have emerged that Kuwait's defense authorities have also acknowledged the crash of several military aircraft. However, the details in the official comments remain limited. Therefore, for now, there are various interpretations around this episode. But one thing is clear: in a wartime environment, every mistake in the sky can be very costly. Especially when mutual coordination is disrupted, the danger can arise not only from the opposing side, but also from the allies themselves.
Meanwhile, the US Central Command announced that more than a thousand targets have been hit since the start of the military operation against Iran. According to the information provided, more than 20 types of equipment - airplanes, ships, missiles, modern systems, even B-2 Spirit strategic bombers and "undisclosed special capabilities" - were used in these operations. This shows Washington's attacks not as a simple limited operation, but as large-scale and deeply planned military pressure.
In short, the current picture clearly shows one thing: the conflict that began between Israel and Iran has already cast a shadow over the entire Persian Gulf region. Explosions, drones, missile strikes, aviation losses, and threats around military bases are making all players in the region even more vigilant. If this conflict continues to escalate, it could put heavy pressure not only on security but also on the oil market, air traffic, and the global economy. In short, the situation in the Middle East is now on a very delicate line - and each new night brings a new threat.
