The US has imposed restrictions on satellite imagery: what is being hidden?

The US company Planet Labs has imposed restrictions on satellite imagery.
The American company Planet Labs, which deals with satellite imagery, announced that it will postpone new satellite images of the Persian Gulf states, Iraq, and Kuwait by 96 hours in the current war conditions.
The company stated that the decision was made to prevent almost real-time analysis of damage to military facilities belonging to the US and its allies.
At the same time, delayed satellite imagery is not applied in the territory of Iran.
Planet Labs described the measure as "a temporary measure to protect personnel and operations in wartime."
That is, in practice:
• Information about the damage caused to the US and its allies is limited from spreading quickly through public images;
• However, images of damage in Iran continue to appear as usual.
