The Qatari authorities announced the suspension of the free hotel accommodation program for tourists in the country. In this regard, the Russian Embassy in Qatar reminded tourists of the need to leave the country or extend hotel stays until March 15, DW reports.
According to the embassy, Russian tourists are advised to leave the country on a Qatar Airways flight departing for Moscow on March 14 at 11:40.
In addition, tourists can travel by land through the "Abu Samra" border crossing. Subsequently, they can continue their travel by air through Saudi Arabia or the United Arab Emirates.
As a reminder, Qatar introduced a free hotel accommodation and meals program after the outbreak of the Israeli-U.S. and Iranian conflict. The suspension of this program will establish new procedures and opportunities for tourists.
