Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić issued a sharp statement on the geopolitical situation in the world, comparing the current processes to the Third World War. He emphasized that similar events occurred at the beginning of the first two world wars.
The head of state emphasized that, looking back at history, similar political and military conflicts existed before the First and Second World Wars. According to him, even today, the struggle for spheres of influence and resources between large states is intensifying on the global stage.
According to Vucic, in the current geopolitical confrontation, the USA, Great Britain, Israel, and the European Union are on one side, while countries such as Russia, Iran, and China are on the other.
He also noted that other countries in the Middle East may also be drawn into this confrontation in the near future. This increases the likelihood of further aggravation of the situation in the region.
At the same time, countries such as Australia and South Korea, standing on the side of the US, also indirectly participate in the fight against Russia by supplying weapons.
According to observers, such sharp statements indicate the growing tension in international relations and indicate the growing relevance of global security issues.
