Iran is not yielding: pressure is increasing through Hormuz

The military confrontation in the Middle East is entering a new stage. Despite heavy losses, Iran maintains its position and is trying to increase pressure through the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.
According to The Washington Post, by the fourth week of the war, Tehran was reportedly trying to influence its rivals by increasing the intensity of military strikes and restricting routes crucial for fuel supplies.
According to sources, Tehran, through this strategy, aimed to turn the conflict into a costly and difficult war for the US and its allies. The Iranian side also expressed its position not to enter into negotiations until the attacks cease.
Observers believe that such tactics could seriously affect energy security in the region and international trade routes. In particular, the restriction of oil transportation through the Strait of Hormuz is likely to lead to instability in the global market.
