Experts note that the price of the MQ-9 Reaper drone varies significantly depending on various factors. In a standard configuration, its price ranges from approximately $16 million to $30 million. According to some estimates, if it is valued as a whole complex, including ground control stations, communication systems, and special equipment, the total cost could exceed 50 million dollars and even reach 56.5 million dollars.
The average cost of such drones for the US Air Force is usually estimated at around $30-34 million. Therefore, the destruction of this device is considered a significant loss not only militarily, but also economically.
