US President Donald Trump announced that the military operation in the Middle East will be completed within the next 2-3 weeks. According to him, as a result of the actions taken, the main goals have been achieved.
Trump emphasized that the US has virtually nullified Iran's ability to develop nuclear weapons. He also noted that "more moderate leaders" have come to power within the country.
The White House leader stated that Washington would complete the operation and withdraw from the region regardless of whether it reached an agreement with Tehran or not. In his opinion, there is no longer any need to continue the operation.
"Iran's economy and military power have been significantly weakened," Trump added.
At the same time, the US President is expected to address the nation today at 9:00 PM local time regarding the Iranian issue.
