Paid parking launched in Tashkent

Paid parking launched in Tashkent
According to the city administration, 86 paid parking zones have been established, offering 13,000 to 14,000 roadside spaces. Some of the zones are marked with a special sign — a large "P" on an orange background, such as the area around Amir Temur Square, reported Nova24.uz.

These parking zones operate 24/7. The fee is 12,000 UZS per hour. Failing to pay will result in a fine.

Payments can be made through a special mobile application or in cash via Paynet terminals. However, users reported that the app is currently unavailable on the App Store and Google Play.

Tashkent will be divided into five payment zones with varying rates: 12,000, 10,000, 8,000, 6,000, and 5,000 UZS. The highest rates apply in the city center, while the lowest are on the outskirts.
