In July 2025, data was published showing a significant increase in car sales in Uzbekistan, according to the Economic Research and Reform Center. The report indicates that the volume of cars sold reached 116,800 units, which is 27% more compared to June of this year and represents the highest sales figure since January 2024 (144,500 units).
The total sales volume of light vehicles reached nearly 100,000 units, which is 25% more compared to the previous month. These figures demonstrate the growth and development of Uzbekistan's car market, which is entering a new phase.
Locally produced new light vehicles continue to hold the leading position in the market, with a 38.6% increase in sales, reaching 32,900 units. This is related to the improvement of local production infrastructure and the rising demand for new vehicles.
At the same time, sales of newly produced foreign light vehicles are also showing positive dynamics. In this segment, sales reached 5,400 units, which is 35.8% higher than in June. This change reflects the growth of competition in the market and the increasing presence of foreign brands in Uzbekistan.
This growth in the car market reflects the development of Uzbekistan's economy, the creation of new jobs, and a well-aligned balance between demand and supply in the car market.
