BYD officially presented the Denza D9 minivan with 333 horsepower

Denza, the premium brand of BYD, has officially launched the second-generation D9 minivan. This large MPV-class vehicle is an analog to the Toyota Alphard and Lexus LM models, featuring significant improvements in equipment and technical capabilities. Ixbt.com reports on this.
While the exterior design of the vehicle has not changed drastically, major updates have been implemented in the interior. The cabin now features up to 10 screens, including a digital instrument cluster, media system, projection display, and individual monitors for passengers.

Natural wood has been used for the trim instead of glossy plastic.
Technically, the hybrid version is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine and a 66.5 kWh battery. The system's total output is 333 horsepower and it has all-wheel drive.

The hybrid model can travel up to 1,100 kilometers with a full charge.
The electric version provides a range of 750-800 kilometers on a single charge. The vehicle is equipped with a 30-speaker "Devialet" audio system, a 7.5-liter refrigerator, and seats with massage functions.
Additionally, there is a system consisting of 12 cameras and 3 lidars to assist the driver.
The price of the new model starts at 360,000 yuan for the hybrid version and 370,000 yuan for the electric version. This figure is almost twice as cheap as its main competitors from Japanese brands.
