Nissan Skyline sedan to return as Infiniti Q50

Nissan is preparing the next-generation Nissan Skyline sedan. The vehicle is expected to enter the market under the Infiniti Q50 nameplate. Ixbt.com reports on this.

According to Infiniti representatives, the new model will be presented next year. For the American market, it is planned to install a 3.0-liter V6 engine with a capacity of over 400 horsepower.

Additionally, a manual transmission option may also be offered.

The design of the new generation will change significantly compared to previous versions. The car will feature updated optics and enlarged air intakes.

At the rear, the four circular lights characteristic of the Skyline and GT-R models are expected to return.

Technical specifications have not yet been fully disclosed. According to preliminary data, the vehicle may retain the current V37 platform in order to reduce costs.

Various power units, including hybrid systems, are being considered for the Japanese market. This model is being positioned as one of the key products in the company's lineup.
