A KhaDm insider has published the first photos of the updated UAZ Patriot SUV. The vehicle is preparing to enter the market with new powertrains and significantly improved equipment. According to initial reports, the car was expected to be equipped with a 136 hp 2.0-liter JAC diesel engine and a 6-speed manual transmission. This is reported by Ixbt.com news.
Later, the author clarified that the photos show a version with a 150 hp ZMZ Pro gasoline engine. Nevertheless, it was confirmed that diesel modifications based on JAC components remain in the production plan. Externally, new LED headlights, modernized taillights, and front parking sensors are noticeable.
The interior of the car has also been significantly updated. It features a modern multi-function steering wheel, climate control buttons, a new multimedia screen, and a number of elements that make the interior look visually more premium. These changes serve to increase the level of comfort for the driver and passengers.
Sales of the new UAZ Patriot are expected to begin in 2026. The estimated starting price is around 2 million rubles, although top-end versions with the new diesel engine and expanded options may be significantly more expensive.
