Netflix’s popular series Wednesday returns for its second season. Part 1 will be released on August 6, 2025, and Part 2 on September 3.
The series once again takes place at Nevermore Academy. The main storyline revolves around a dark mystery threatening Enid Sinclair’s (Emma Myers) life — Wednesday’s role in trying to save her best friend Enid becomes even more significant.
The new season will feature an expanded portrayal of the Addams family: Morticia and Pugsley return, Joanna Lumley plays Grandmama, Steve Buscemi becomes Nevermore’s new principal, and Lady Gaga appears as a mysterious teacher named Rosalina Rotwood.
Horror elements will be intensified: dreams, fear, and psychological drama will push the characters through internal changes and into new dangers. The LOIS experiment (a mysterious project), resurrected creatures, and thefts — all will add more depth to the story.
At the end of Part 1, Wednesday is thrown out of a window and falls into a coma — viewers are now eagerly waiting to see if she will survive in Part 2, and how the war of friendship and energies will be resolved.
