Hajiboy Tojiboyev's daughter responds to claims that she is "not worthy of her father's name"

The daughter of the late humorist Khojiboy Tojiboyev, Madina Tojiboyeva, has married. Her spouse is actor and singer Islam Mansurov, known in the creative world by the stage name “UzTim.” The couple’s relationship and wedding drew great public attention, and especially the rumors surrounding them became a subject of wide discussion.

According to Islam, they met during the quarantine period. While he was hosting a live broadcast about making money on social media, Madina asked a question, and this led to their acquaintance. “From the first moment I saw her, I thought she would be mine. A week later, I confessed my love,” he said.

However, some social media comments claimed that Madina became his “second wife.” The reason was Islam’s age of 33 and suspicions regarding his personal life. Madina clarified: “People shouldn’t believe false rumors. At first, I also feared that Islam had a family. But he explained everything to me,” she said.

The groom explained that the misunderstanding came from videos featuring his nieces and nephews. People assumed they were his children. “I have never been married. I simply hadn’t met the right person,” said Islam.

At the wedding, many praised the event, but the bride’s dress also drew criticism. Madina spoke openly: “I heard curses like: ‘She’s not worthy of her father’s name.’ But I wasn’t wearing anything revealing. In fact, many said I wore the most beautiful and modern gown at the wedding. I don’t intend to live by others’ opinions,” she said.

Islam supported his wife: “There’s no need to prove anything to anyone. The main thing is that I was by her side. Negative comments come from people who haven’t achieved anything in life. It’s best not to care,” he noted.

Representatives of Uzbek show business also attended the couple’s wedding. Despite criticism of their dance, Islam and Madina paid no attention. “A wedding happens once. We didn’t want to regret not dancing. So, we went out and danced with joy. We are naturally a lively couple,” they said.

Madina also mentioned that her father’s student, Valijon Shamshiyev, accompanied her as a father figure during the wedding. According to the couple, they wanted to remain true to themselves at the wedding, choosing sincerity over appearances.
