Actress Malika Rahimova, in an interview with the YouTube project “With Mirsodikova,” shared candid reflections about her student years, career, and family.
According to her, she had to work as a security guard in a supermarket to cover her tuition fees. At first, she worked as a caregiver at the children's play area. After some time, the administration called her to the video surveillance department and, saying, “You’ll learn the job within one or two weeks,” offered her the security position.
Rahimova agreed and started working, even learning how to detect theft cases. She notes that she was afraid at first, but eventually became accustomed to the job. Later, she was invited to work at the railway station. At that time, she had already completed her studies, and when she went to the theatre, she learned that there were no available positions in the staff. So she returned to the station and later continued to manage both theatre work and her station job at the same time.
According to the actress, she was not immediately accepted into the theatre staff. She spent some time on a probationary period, and later was hired for a half-time position as an assistant director. Today, she is a first-category actress at the theatre. At the railway station, she worked full-time, operating a microscopic device used to detect explosive materials and ensure passengers’ safety.
Currently, Malika Rahimova is on maternity leave and is focused on raising her children.
