BAFTA Award winners were solemnly awarded in London

The 79th BAFTA Awards ceremony took place in the British capital on Sunday, February 22nd. At this prestigious evening in the world of cinema, director Paul Thomas Anderson's film "Battlecade" made a real "victory march" and won a total of six golden figurines.

The award went to Robert Aramayo for his role as a Scottish activist suffering from Turett syndrome. Among women, Jesse Buckley was recognized as unmatched for her role in the historical drama about the Shakespeare family.
Triumph of a political documentary
In the "Best Documentary" category, the work "Mr. Nobody Against Putin" by Pavel Talankin and David Borenstein won. This film, which tells the story of education and ideology in Russian schools, was created based on shots secretly filmed in the Chelyabinsk region. This film was previously highly acclaimed at the Sundance Festival and is now confidently moving towards an Oscar.
