Imron, who met his wife at a funeral and became a star with “Yomon qiz”, turns 36

Singer Imron, known to the general public for his hit “Yomon qiz” and described by fans as a “singer of love”, celebrated his 36th birthday on May 5. On this occasion, we take a brief look at the artist's life path and creative career.

Imron, whose real name is Oybek Tukhtaev, was born in 1990 in the Kagan district of the Bukhara region. According to him, his love for art was inherited from his mother. Although his mother was interested in the stage in her youth, she could not realize this dream due to family circumstances. Imron continued those dreams.

The singer's childhood was not easy. By the age of 11–12, he was already working in construction abroad with his family, experiencing the hardships of labor. For this reason, he emphasizes that great patience and hard work lie behind his success today.

Imron studied at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan from 2008 to 2013. Although he began his creative work in 2008, he achieved real fame in 2019 with the song “Yomon qiz”. This song became a hit in a short time and made the singer's name widely known.

The history of the song is also interesting. The piece was first performed by an Iranian singer, and Imron reworked it, giving it a new breath. It turned out that the author of the lyrics was Jurabek Ramazonov, and after the song became popular, his relatives also expressed their gratitude.

Imron's creative collaboration with actress Durdona Kurbanova has also caused much talk. They participated in several music videos together and were perceived by fans as a “real couple”. However, both have always emphasized that it is only a creative tandem.

The singer's personal life is also one of the topics of interest to fans. He got married in 2021. Interestingly, he met his future wife at a funeral ceremony. Later, after waiting for two and a half years, he married the girl he loved.

Imron emphasizes that he loved his wife with all his heart and waited patiently to marry her. Currently, the artist is among the happy people not only in his creative work but also in his personal life.
