Lego achieved a historic record: strong growth in the first half of the year

Lego successfully closed the first six months of 2025 with remarkable results. Reports indicate that the company’s revenue increased by 12 percent, reaching a historic peak of $5.4 billion. This figure has been recorded as the best half-year result in Lego’s history.

The company’s line of toy construction sets also expanded significantly. During this period alone, the assortment grew by a record 314 sets. Additionally, in the first half of the year Lego managed to open 24 new stores worldwide.

Revenue growth was particularly driven by toy sets in the form of flowers and houseplants, as well as Formula-1 miniature cars.

— This is the best first half-year result in our history. A record in revenue, a record in operating profit, a record in net profit… We are very pleased, — said Lego CEO Niels Christiansen in an interview with CNBC.

In recent years, Lego has been consistently expanding its product range. The lineup now includes home interior sets, wall mosaics, and various decorative items. The company has also established new licensing partnerships, including sets based on the children’s animated series “Bluey” and the anime “One Piece.”

One of the biggest steps forward is the multi-year partnership with Pokemon, whose sets are expected to arrive in stores in 2026.

According to experts, as Lego continues its innovation- and creativity-oriented strategy, the company’s growth is likely to remain stable in the coming years.
