The price of silver has reached its highest point in recent decades, Bloomberg reported. According to the agency, the price of one ounce (31.1 grams) of silver on the COMEX precious metals exchange reached $51.2 today.
This indicator was last recorded in the early 1980s. Since then, silver has crossed the $50 threshold for the first time.
According to the data, the price of silver has increased by 73% since the beginning of 2025. Earlier, it was reported that the price of gold on the New York Stock Exchange also rose to a record level, exceeding $4,000 per ounce.
