In which country is demand for Uzbek apples increasing the most?

The volume of apple cultivation and its export in Uzbekistan is growing significantly. According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-August 2025, the country exported a total of 22.6 thousand tons of apples to 10 countries.

The total value of this indicator amounted to 11.6 million US dollars. Russia (10,721 tons) and Kazakhstan (10,098 tons) are leading among the largest buyers. Also, 1,275 tons of apples were exported to Kyrgyzstan, and more than 300 tons to Turkmenistan and Iraq.

According to experts, Uzbekistan occupies one of the leading places in Central Asia in apple cultivation. The local climate, natural irrigation systems, and new intensive orchards have improved quality in this area. As a result, the natural taste and competitive price of Uzbek apples are becoming increasingly popular among foreign buyers.

In recent years, the geography of Uzbekistan's apple exports has also expanded - now there are more requests not only from neighboring countries, but also from the countries of the Middle East. Experts call this process a "new wave of agricultural exports."
