In October 2025, transactions for the purchase and sale of housing in Uzbekistan increased sharply. According to the Center for Economic Research and Reforms, 27.1 thousand transactions were concluded during the month, which is 12% more than last month. This is the highest figure recorded since August 2023.
The largest growth was observed in Khorezm, Bukhara, and Tashkent regions. It was noted that housing trade transactions in these regions increased by an average of 26 percent. Such an increase in market activity means that the demand for housing among the population is growing.
Prices in the secondary market also fluctuated slightly. In October, the average price per square meter of housing increased by 2.4%. For comparison, in September this figure was only 0.6%.
In the rental housing market, no significant changes have been observed. The average rental price in Tashkent remained at 8.5 US dollars per 1 sq.m. However, compared to the same month last year, this price increased by 1.6%.
Market figures show that demand for housing is growing and prices are rising gradually.
