Foreign investors are choosing the capital the most, regions are lagging behind

According to the National Statistics Committee, as of November 1, 2025, a total of 17,595 enterprises with foreign investments operate in Uzbekistan. This indicator is increasing year by year.

In terms of regions, the city of Tashkent leads in the number of foreign enterprises. 11,201 foreign enterprises are registered in the capital, which is more than half of the total number.

Tashkent region (2,253), Samarkand (658), Fergana (607), Surkhandarya (486) and other regions are in the next places. The smallest number of foreign enterprises is in the Kashkadarya region - 161.
